This policy explains how GoodEmojis handles information when you visit goodemojis.com, search the catalog, or download emoji artwork.

Information processed when you use the site

Our hosting and delivery providers may receive technical information needed to deliver pages and images, such as IP address, browser and device details, requested URLs, and request timestamps. This information may appear in their operational or security logs under their own retention practices.

We use Google Analytics to understand site visits and improve the service. Google may receive usage and device information, including page views, browser details, and online identifiers, according to its own terms and privacy policy. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy and use browser settings or available Google controls to limit analytics.

When you search, GoodEmojis records daily aggregate counts for search phrases and result totals to understand what people are looking for. We normalize phrases and do not record a phrase if it appears to contain an email address or a number with nine or more digits. Emoji page views and downloads are also counted by day and emoji. These application metrics do not include your account identity; GoodEmojis does not offer user accounts.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site may use cookies or similar storage needed for Rails sessions and security. Google Analytics may also use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking them may affect some site functionality or analytics choices.

How information is used and shared

We use information to operate, secure, maintain, and improve GoodEmojis; understand catalog searches and downloads; and diagnose technical problems. We rely on service providers for hosting, image delivery, and analytics. They process information to provide their services under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not sell personal information. We do not operate user profiles, advertising accounts, or an account registration system.

Children and changes

GoodEmojis is a general-audience catalog and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy by posting a revised version here and changing the effective date.
