DMCA Policy

Effective September 26, 2026

GoodEmojis respects copyright. If you believe material available through the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our copyright contact at goodemojis+dmca@gmail.com. This page describes information needed to evaluate a request; it is not legal advice.

Copyright notices

A notice intended to comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) should include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If several works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
  3. The exact GoodEmojis URL or other information that lets us locate the material.
  4. Your name and contact information, including mailing address, telephone number, and email address when available.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Please consider whether the use may be authorized by law, including fair use. Deliberately false or misleading notices can create legal liability.

Review process

We review complete notices and may remove or disable access to identified material while we investigate. Where appropriate and practicable, we may notify the affected party and share the information needed to submit a counter-notice.

Counter-notices

If material connected to you was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to goodemojis+dmca@gmail.com. A counter-notice intended to comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) should include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed or disabled material and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, mailing address, and telephone number; a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any district where the service provider may be found); and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person’s agent.

We may restore material in accordance with the DMCA unless we receive notice that the original claimant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the relevant activity. Consider consulting a qualified attorney if you are unsure whether to submit a notice or counter-notice.
